AUSTIN - The Texas Lyceum will swear in Houston energy executive Castlen Kennedy as its 2021 president and welcome 16 new directors from across Texas during its annual Investiture ceremony on January 28 in Austin, Texas. The outgoing president - Austin’s Laura Dixon - will move into the role of Chair and Dallas public affairs executive and civic strategist Sarah Jackson will be formally named President-elect for 2022. The appointments of Dixon, Kennedy and Jackson will mark the first time The Texas Lyceum has been led by a trio of women.
(AUSTIN) The Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan statewide leadership organization announced today that Laura Dixon of Austin has been named the 2020 Texas Lyceum president. Dixon has been on the leadership team at Spurs Sports and Entertainment since 2009. She led community engagement for five professional sports franchises and served as Executive Director of Silver and Black Give Back. In 2017 she was named head of external relations for the parent company. Dixon earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School at the University of Texas at Austin.

Ram is a founding Principal at VERSA Infrastructure, an engineering consulting firm specializing in program and construction management, and serves on the Houston METRO Board of Directors. In addition, the premier leadership organization announced the names of 26 new Lyceum Directors (list below) selected to join the association, which focuses on Texas public policy challenges and engages its members in a range of invaluable conferences designed to initiate vigorous and respectful debate.

Morrison is CEO and Founder of Innové, a San Antonio based cyber security company that does business with the U.S. Department of Defense.
