Excursions - On the Road Again National Videogame Museum: The National Videogame Museum offers the opportunity to explore the history of video games and the video game industry and play vintage video games. VIP Tour of The Star: The Star is the 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility in Frisco, Texas. Developed as a first-of-its-kind partnership between the City of Frisco and Frisco ISD, The Star gives fans the opportunity to connect with the Dallas Cowboys in ways they have never imagined. PGA Frisco: With the unveiling of the new PGA headquarters in Frisco, North Texas is the future of golf. PGA Frisco includes features such as two 18-hole world class courses, a 10-hole short course, a 30-acre practice facility and a 3.5-mile-long paved hike and bike trail. Ismaili Jamatkhana Mosque: While Texas continues to become more diverse, the state has been the site of several recent antisemitic attacks and violence in places of worship. We will learn about this Islamic denomination and meet a diverse group of faith leaders who have contributed to the decades-long work to build a network of trust and friendship among religions in North Texas. The value of this interfaith work became clear when a synagogue in Colleyville was attacked and the rabbi and several congregants were taken hostage earlier this year. Texas will need this kind of leadership in the years ahead to ensure that everyone can worship freely. Frisco Arts Tour: Frisco is currently recognized as “The Best Place to Raise an Athlete.” But more than 70% of the community’s high school students are involved in fine arts. Frisco is taking steps to become more well-rounded and known as a destination for the arts. Join this Frisco Arts Tour with Tammy Meinershagen, Frisco Arts Chair to hear the power of the arts to unify and inspire. |
