2013 TEXAS LYCEUM POLL

The Affordable Care Act, Medicaid and Health Insurance Exchanges; Public Education; Texting and Driving; and Transportation Infrastructure

The Seventh Annual Texas Lyceum Poll, conducted from September 6-20, 2013, examines adult Texans' attitudes toward issues such as the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid expansion and health insurance exchanges, public education, texting and driving, and transportation infrastructure needs of the state. In addition, the non-partisan poll provides a look at whether likely voters will support the 2013 constitutional amendment to pay for water infrastructure projects from the state's Rainy Day Fund, and who they will support in the 2014 gubernatorial race. Finally, the Poll continues to track longitudinal data on Texans' perceptions of the state and national economies, the direction of the country, and job approval numbers of our state and federal elected leaders.
