"Power Under Pressure: Securing Texas Electricity"

The Texas Lyceum is proud to announce its 2027 Public Conference, "Power Under Pressure: Securing Texas Electricity," will be held in Austin, Texas, on January 21, 2027.

Texas is growing. Technology is accelerating. Electricity demand is surging. Can the grid keep up?

Join the Texas Lyceum in Austin January 21–22, 2027, for Power Under Pressure: Securing Texas Electricity, a Public Conference examining the choices that will determine how Texas powers its future.

We’ll move beyond the usual energy debate to explore how we power a booming Texas, whether “all of the above” is still the right energy strategy, how we defend critical infrastructure from cyber threats and other risks, and whether emerging technologies can help meet the next wave of demand.

Expect provocative questions, competing viewpoints, nationally recognized experts, and the candid civil dialogue that defines a Lyceum conference—all as the 90th Texas Legislature gets underway.

The lights are on. The pressure is rising. Join the conversation.
